François Corbeau is a self-taught designer who has worked on wood sculpture and brassware since 1983. He met Pierre Staudenmeyer at the Gallery Néotù in the beginning of the 90's and began a collaboration in 1995 with one-off pieces.
After the Gallery Néotù, Mouvements Modernes carried on with the collaboration, notably with one-off objects and private commissions.
These brassware pieces need a lot of work and pinpoint accuracy. Aluminium, graphite and tin are the favourite materials of François Corbeau. The objects made by the designer are special because he takes into consideration the place the object is made for, from the first drawings.

Mouvements Modernes produces the pieces of François Corbeau on demand, within the framework of special commissions.
