Born in Brest in 1976, Morgane Tschiember lives and works in Paris. An alumnus of the Ecole Européenne Supérieure d'Art in Quimper, Brittany and of the Paris Beaux-Arts academy, a winner of the 2001 youth prize for Young Creators at the Espace Paul Ricard, her work offers a thorough reexamination of artistic practices in all of their facets, with a proliferation of media. She takes on all materials and means of expression, from books to monumental installations or photography, metal objects and sculptures, pottery, glass or wood.Deeply inspired by minimalism, her works are becoming increasingly sensual, organic, and feminine, incorporating her breath or imprints of her body. Her works have been exhibited throughout the world.
