Between the Invalides and the Champs de Mars, in the Gros-Caillou district, under the curious regards of the Eiffel Tower and the sky, nestles the Apartment of Mrs L . As a jewelbox from another time, this first creation by Jules Lavirotte, Hector Guimard's contemporary architect, houses furniture, ceramics, glassware, paintings and curiosities which are very dear to the owner.  Under the glass roof of this workshop appartment, one can hear the lively discussions between artists, craftsmen, designers, collectors, donors and all sorts of aesthetes that she likes to gather in this unusual place of sharing. After pushing open the imposing wooden and wrought iron door decorated with two saurians and an ear of corn, guests will discover her Parisian pied-à-terre, a place for receptions and curiosities that seems to pass through time. They will be immersed in an enigmatic artistic universe where the hand of the creators transforms the materials under the enlightened regard of Mrs L ., establishing a dialogue between the works and the human beings.
